Joe Chris the founder of One Chair at a time in Amarillo Texas

Joe Chris Rodriguez

I served my country for 4 years until I suffered a gun shot wound leaving me paralyzed at the T7/T8 level. I’ve always been involved in sports and didn’t want that to change just because I was in a wheelchair. I started this organization to give others the same chance.

I Served in the US Navy and In 2006  was injured in a motor vehicle accident. Shortly after being injured I began playing wheelchair sports and am proud to have represented the United States in multiple competitions. I am proud to be part of this wonderful organization and help others.

Help us win today!
